Harri

Harri is synonymous with Glasgow’s vibrant House scene and the bastion of Clubs in not only his home city but also the world. The Sub Club is one of the longest standing, groundbreaking establishments of its kind having been at the top of its game for more than 20 years now. Along with Domenic Cappello, Harri has continued to be a key figure not only here, but also at the top spots the world over.

Harri and fellow resident Domenic Cappello created the club’s flagship night, Subculture. Subculture has hosted and debuted many of the most pinnacle figures in dance music history and is widely regarded as one of the most credible nights in the world, with very good reason.

As a producer Harri has showcased his extraordinary skills over the years, some of which you may not directly associate with him. For example the huge hit “I Feel Good Things For You” with Harri under the guise of Daddy’s Favourite, was and still is a house classic. More recently Harri has been producing with The Revenge. This collaboration has seen “Space Doubt” and a remix of “And If” being released on labels like Rebirth Records and Timbre Recordings. Big support and airplay of the aforementioned has come from the likes of Radio Slave, Moodymanc, Chris Duckenfield and Lil Tony, to name a few.

As well as his residency, Harri continues to guest at the best clubs across the globe and has played alongside the majority of premier league DJ’s, past and present. His five year residency with Kenny Hawkes at Plastic People in London was regarded as one of the best house nights of the 90’s and numerous press over the years have lauded Harri’s unique contribution to the House scene.

Harri has recently collaborated with The Revenge and released on labels like Nordic Trax, Deep Freeze and Bosh. To celebrate the seminal 20^th Birthday of the Sub Club Soma released a double CD with DJ mixes from Harri, Domenic Cappello and Optimo. On top of this, Harri and Domenic have also done a widely acclaimed Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1.

Harri’s energetic style, technical virtuosity, credentials and musical understanding means he continues to be one of the greats in the world of electronic music.
