Now into it's 18th year Back to Basics is still going strong, with no sign of Dave Beer's legendary bastion of club culture letting up. With its consistent passion for quality music, a refusal to sell out and a Rock 'n Roll ethos, Basics continues to remain at the top of its game and in it's own words, "two steps further than any other fucker".
As well as being the longest standing night of its kind, Back to Basics strides into 2010 with its own record label, world wide parties and resident DJ's continually excelling in their own musical fields. With its all round presence acting like a magnet for like minded people, Basics not only maintains its legendary status but continues to evolve and inspire everyone it touches.
Due to Basics continuing to be a phenomena in modern culture there has been a lot of recent attention from the media. The fact is, no matter who you are, where your from or where your going you can't help but be drawn in and allured by its unique story and origins through to its forward thinking future plans.
With this in mind BBC 1's Inside Out program recently did a feature to document and pay it's dues to Back to Basics.
