News | Buckley's time to shine in 2010
Having been on the international circuit for years Buckley is widely known and highly regarded for his outstanding DJ, production and remix skills. Since the early 90's Buckley has been a key player with his experience, versatility and skills placing him at the top of the game in the house scene.
This year he continues his residency at the legendary Back to Basics and guesting at almost every credible club throughout the world. As well as this his remixes and productions are set to take the world by storm in 2010. The forthcoming months will see Buckley release on some of the most prestigious labels of our time. Previous hits on the likes of Dust Trax, Made to Play and a remix of Unkle’s, “Hold My Hand” have seen Buckley’s sound make a sonic impact time and time again. Now the next chapter is about to commence.
On now on Beatport is Buckley's remix of the 20/20 Soundsystem's hit "Psycho" on Ralph Lawson's 20/20 Vision. The E.P includes remixes by Layo & Bushwacka, Subb-an and more. After this comes “Kitch n Sync”, on Back to Basics record label. The E.P includes remixes by Jamie Jones and Chris Duckenfield and is already setting dance floors alight with every play. After that comes “Catch a Taste” and “The Shift”, on One Records. Adam Shelton and Subb-an’s One Records is receiving continued mass interest from the premier DJ’s in the world and the feedback so far on Buckley’s E.P is signaling another prominent release.
Only four months into 2010 and Buckley’s producing and remixing is proving very prolific. As well as the aforementioned he has also remixed of one of the most seminal house tracks of all time, Markus Nikolai’s, “Bushes”. Buckley combines forces with PBR Streetgang for this remix and it is due for release on both Classic Recordings and Southern Fried Records on 17th May. Some say you can’t touch a classic but if the remix is as outstanding as this it’s easy to see why the release is happening.
On top of this a Radio 1 Essential Mix is also in the pipeline taking Buckley’s musical roots, passion, talent and all round presence to both the underground and a wider audience.
