As one of the UK’s finest up and coming acts Death on the Balcony will be delivering more productions, remixes and playing world wide gigs as their range of musicality continues to evolve.
Their unique style fuses a range of influences from Nu Disco, House to Deep Techno and everything in-between depending on the time and space. Years of dedicated musical passion and an eclectic appreciation of numerous genres have lead to their sound becoming perfected and receiving huge popularity across the board. The likes of Luciano, Soul Clap, Jimpster and Wolf + Lamb, to name a few, have all been charting their releases and supporting them with mass airplay. Their own label, Magicbag, is currently very popular and receives continued support from a diverse range of people ranging from Radio 1’s Mary Anne Hobbs through to Jamie Jones, Brothers Vibe and basically the majority of the underground dance community.
Death on the Balcony continue to work closely with Soul Clap with their "Cruel Banana" edit being featured on the recently releases Soul Clap Fre.EP. Further to this the guys have mixed the latest Adventures of Soul Clap Podast, Episode 77 calling it "Downtown:Uptown". Look out for thier forthcoming releases on Airdrop, One Records and Akbal. The Airdrop release features a remix by Jozif and their One Records release is part of a pack age that includes another Jozif remix and the original by label owners Adam Shelton and Subb-an. Their DJ schedule sees them play at some of the best spots in the world alongside the likes of Moodymann, Dyed Soundorom, Josh Wink, Matthias Tanzmann and many more. Based in Leeds they also host their own party "Throwback" at The Loft each month with guests like The Revenge, Mark E, Soul Clap, Tristan Da Cunha and Popular Peoples Front.
